The Branford Kayak Group is a bunch of people who kayak for the fun of it and thought it would be neat to share our ideas, discoveries of hidden niches along the Sound, up the rivers and journeys between the ponds and lakes of Connecticut. All skill levels are welcome to participate and all launch sites will be considered. The Connecticut Appalachian Mountain Club Whitewater committee organizes whitewater paddling instruction and trips on whitewater rivers throughout New England. All events are open to the public.
